A minimalism ‘flat - pack’ concept design with LG OLED ultra thin TV screen, creates an immersive space for kids to explore, to experience, and to use as an assisting educational device. Easy to set up at varied venues.

Concept:

In the fast-changing world, display devices gradually but surely become the windows for us to connect to the world. We work through display, learn through display, contacting family through display, entertain through display.

Though the vaccines are approaching close to us, the world’s battles with Covid-19 have to continue. Lockdowns come back from time to time. While our living, working, learning and experiencing ways struck by pandemic, children are cut from nature, learning is interrupted, parents are struggling to balance work and home-schooling. Finding new ways of children’s playing, learning and experiencing becomes important as a part of shaping our future ways of lives.

Children love tents, huts and forts. Our response to the competition is the design of Hut of the World which harnesses the LG OLED high definition display technology and creates the maximum immersive world for children’s eyes and minds for play, entertainment and learning.

Materials:

• OLED 65 inch in standard and bespoke trimmed shape

• Soundbar

• Aluminium cast tray, structure frame and hinges

• Aluminium deck with bamboo mat

Features:

• Basic Hut size: Based on standard double bed width of 1.4 M, the design selects 65 inch screen as the basic module and gives the overall 1.50 M (L) * 0.88 M (W) * 1.585 M (H) pitch roof volume.

• Flatpack: Panels being connected with hinges can be packed to base tray, easy for storage and delivery.

• Minimalism: running wire through aluminium frames. sound system and power pack integrated into the base.

• Expandability: Users can order more OLED displays and kits to double modules.
